Coach Stacy Martinez
Coach Stacy Martinez is the founder and head coach of Savannah Apex Volleyball, where she is committed to developing athletes who compete with excellence, lead with character, and grow both on and off the court. As both a school and club volleyball coach, Coach Stacy brings experience, leadership, and a deep passion for the game to every athlete she works with. The upcoming season marks her seventh year of coaching volleyball, during which she has coached athletes at the middle school, junior varsity, and varsity levels.
Known for building strong team cultures and developing confident players, Coach Stacy focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game while also emphasizing leadership, discipline, and accountability. Her coaching philosophy centers on helping athletes grow not only as volleyball players but as individuals—developing resilience, teamwork, and the mindset needed to compete at their highest level.
Coach Stacy is committed to continuing education and leadership within the sport. She holds multiple coaching certifications and has completed the Junior Volleyball Association (JVA) Club Director Course, a nationally recognized program focused on developing strong, athlete-centered volleyball organizations. In addition to her coaching experience, she is also a Mental Performance Coach, helping athletes build confidence, focus, and mental toughness—skills that are essential for success both on the court and in life.
Throughout her coaching career, Coach Stacy has been dedicated to creating environments where athletes are challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. She believes volleyball is a powerful platform to teach life lessons through competition, teamwork, and personal growth.
Through Savannah Apex Volleyball, Coach Stacy continues her mission of developing athletes who compete with passion, lead with integrity, and represent their team with pride.
