SAV Tryouts Are in the Books

A few months ago, Savannah Apex Volleyball was just an idea, a thought that I blurted out of my mouth to Armando. I didn’t really think it would come to fruition. I was in the middle of club season with our volleyball club. I was busy working, homeschooling my girls, and helping Armando run his business behind the scenes, and I was overall burnt out and going through the wringer. However, I mentioned my idea to some of my closest friends and their daughters (who were my players), my club director, and I said yes to Armando, who told me I needed to do this. 

“If you build it, he will come.” – Field of Dreams. 

To be honest, we weren’t sure what to expect. I knew I had supporters and players who wanted to be coached by me. However, what I didn’t realize was how many of them there were. It’s hard to put into words how rewarding and uplifting it feels to have players and their parents trust you, as a coach, to follow along on your journey. And they aren’t just following along, they are supporting me and Armando 100%.
