Savannah Apex JV picked up a 2–0 win over Hilton Head Prep, putting together a strong team performance with contributions throughout the lineup.

Serving was one of Apex’s biggest strengths in the match. JV finished with 13 aces, with five different players recording at least one ace.Apex came out strong in the opening set, taking it 25–11, and carried that momentum into Set 2 for a 25–17 win to complete the straight-set victory.

Liv Lewis (#17) ran the offense with 9 assists and had a strong day from the service line with a team-high 4 aces. She also added a kill and was 2-for-2 defensively.
Kyleigh Black (#42) led the offense with 6 kills on 12 attempts and added an ace. Six kills in a two-set match gave Apex consistent production at the net.
Elise Purifoy (#37) was efficient offensively, putting down 3 kills on just 4 attempts with no attack errors. She also added an assist.
Sarah Grace James (#24) contributed 2 kills with no attack errors and added 2 aces from the service line.
Lola Wacker (#11) added a kill, 3 aces, went 2-for-2 defensively and was a perfect 5-for-5 in serve receive.
Kennedy Martinez (#27) helped anchor the back row, finishing 5-for-5 defensively and 11-for-12 in serve receive (92%). She also added 3 assists.
Emma DiFabio (#28) gave Apex another boost from the service line with 3 aces and successfully handled 4 of 5 serve-receive opportunities.
Tatum Smith (#32) contributed on the attack and added a defensive play.

The 92% team serve receive was another positive for this group. Kennedy, Lola, #28, and #42 combined to handle 22 of 24 receptions, allowing Apex to stay in system and create offensive opportunities.
It was a good all-around win for our JV team. We served aggressively, multiple players contributed offensively, and we continued to improve in serve receive and defense.
Most importantly, this group continues to grow together. A 2–0 win over Hilton Head Prep was another positive step forward for our JV season.
